Why make your own cover page?
Xero's report packs can include a cover page, but there isn't much you can change: the title, the date and who prepared it, plus a style, title colour and watermark for partners. There's no logo upload. If your clients or directors expect a pack that looks like it came from your business, the cover page is usually built outside Xero. This tool does that in a minute.
How to use it with your Xero reports
- Fill in the details, pick a style and colour, and add your logo.
- Download the cover page as a PDF.
- Export your reports from Xero as PDFs (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and so on).
- Drop the cover and the reports into the free PDF combiner to make one file, with page numbers if you want them. Untick "Cover page" there so you don't get two.
For more on building packs in Xero itself, see how Xero management report packs work.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The PDF is built in your browser with an open source library, and your logo and details never leave your computer.
Sending the pack every month
If you send the same pack every month, Reportpost can pull the reports straight from Xero and email them as one PDF on the day you choose, with your message on top. It sends Xero's standard reports rather than custom layouts, and there's a 14-day free trial.
